Mobile System Analyst

Information

Analyse, design, develop, and document applications using agreed enterprise standards, processes and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Provide technical assistance and expertise across projects and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with internal developers, Business Engagement team, technical peers and external service providers to determine requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot and implement change.
• Ensure that code quality standards, security requirements and implementation procedures are defined and enforced.
• Undertake relevant research where required.
• Act as the teams ‘go to’ specialist on Mobile Development Application.

Requirements

• Graduate qualifications relevant to IT industry.
• Mobile Application Development experience.
• Understanding of agile development.
• Knowledge of web standards, accessibility and mobile development.
• Knowledge of Objective-C, Xcode, Android as well as iOS and Android.
• Understanding of industry trends, technologies and best practices.
• Graphical User Interface design (GUI), usability, and accessibility concepts.
• Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and project managers to identify project objectives, requirements, scope and timeline estimation.
• SDLC for mobile sites/applications including planning, design, development, analysis and support.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Technical knowledge of programming, database concepts and system design.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business needs.
• Ability to articulate technology benefit in terms of business functions.
• Understanding of project management methodologies.
